Budapest retro

Budapest lives in its history; you can find mediaeval fragments, amazing buildings, squares and monuments. This town has a vibrant and exciting character, all that we are so proud of was built in the last decades of the 19th century.
There is an other Budapest which is much more recent – the 'modern' town. During the fifties, sixties and seventies lots of new buildings were build, sometimes funny, sometimes ugly, odd monuments, which had become cultic places–all this scenery is still amongst us, they are eyewitnesses of Hungary’s past and probably they will remain for a while.
As we wonder through the city-scenes you will be able to 'taste' the feeling of Hungary in the fifties, sixties and seventies.
